Dear colleagues and friends of the Circumpolar Agricultural Association (CAA).
It is with great regret that we have to inform You, that the 11th. Circumpolar Agricultural Conference (CAC 2022), which was planned to be arranged in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, in July this year, unfortunately has been postponed until further notice; presumably and hopefully just until the summer of 2023.
The reason for postponing the 11th. Circumpolar Agricultural Conference (CAC 2022) is the turmoil following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the unanimous and firm boycotts of Russia. Due to the preliminary suspension of the external Nordic economic support, a successful conference would not have been a realistic option, since this contribution was of paramount importance to keep the conference fee at an affordable price level, as well as to make it possible for the hosts to invite speakers from outside.
Therefore, the board members of the Circumpolar Agricultural Association (CAA) have now decided to postpone the 11th. Circumpolar Agricultural Conference (CAC 2022) until further notice.
We might just hope to resume normal activities again within a not too far time span.
